There's a lot of mystery concerning what's coming next for Fortnite. The battle royale juggernaut has enjoyed comfort for some time, giving writers the opportunity to get ambitious with their narratives.

The upcoming shift to Chapter 3 could bring immeasurable change to the island, perhaps changing the gameplay entirely - but chances are, it'll still be more Fortnite. Hopefully.

But, some fans have noticed a few clues that hint one of the biggest celebrities in the world could be a major part of the upcoming chapter.

Fans Think The Rock Is Coming To Fortnite

In a peculiar surprise, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has hinted that he could be the voice of Fortnite's mysterious adversary, The Foundation, during a new ad for his energy drink ZOA

This has been rumoured and speculated about for some time by dedicated Fortnite fans, but the latest video from the man himself has pretty much confirmed the news.

The video shared to The Rock's Twitter account features hints at the character in both the caption and video itself.

The video sees The Rock crack open a fridge full of ZOA, but inside, players have spotted a helmet that looks exactly like that of The Foundation's. Added to this, the caption of the tweet reads "drinking ZOA, will always give you the strongest FOUNDATION in the UNIVERSE!"

Finally, the video has been shared by Chief Creative Officer of Epic Games Donald Mustard onto his Instagram story, adding further validity to the idea. Curious.

Who Is The Foundation?

It's cool that The Rock himself could be joining Fortnite, but The Foundation is a very mysterious character about whom we know very little.

He arrived in Chapter 2 Season 6, and grew in players' estimations when he sealed himself into the Zero Point in a bid to stabilise it. He's known as the leader of The Seven and played a major part in the Fortnite Batman crossover comic.

Dwayne Johnson's appearance in Fortnite has all but been confirmed by these hints, and it's an exciting idea that we can't wait to see come to fruition. This may, however, jeopardize the arrival of Black Adam to the island - but we'll just have to deal with that.
