Having blossomed a partnership in April, The General Insurance and NRG have already set their eyes on RLCS XI, and have revealed a way for their fans to get involved.

The reigning world champions topped of their season in fine form, taking gold at the RLCS X North America Championships and the $160,000 prize money that came with it. Fending off Spacestation Gaming through a bracket reset, The General NRG rounded off the online year with success, just as we're acclimatised to seeing.

Now, going into the eleventh season of Rocket League Esports, The General NRG have revealed four concept jerseys, and will be opening a voting selection to allow their fans to decide which kit will be their official jersey for the season.

Each design is primed with a trophy to signal their Season 8 World Championship win and six stars, representing each of their major championship wins.

Fans will be able to vote for their chosen design daily, with the voting spanning from July 6 to July 20. The design with the most votes will become the official The General NRG RLCS XI Jersey. Votes can be cast here.

“These jersey designs are a true representation of The General NRG Rocket League team’s storied history over the past five years,” said Brett Lautenbach, President of NRG Esports. “Not many other teams have the historic legacy that our team does, and we’re excited the new jersey design with the patch will be able to showcase the team’s hard work and dedication to Rocket League.”

Kale Sligh, Vice President of Marketing for The General, added, “From the onset of this partnership, our goal has always been to be a driving force behind The General NRG Rocket League Team and connect with Rocket League audiences in an authentic and organic way.

“We’ve been amazed by the excitement and support of the team’s fans, and we’re thrilled those dedicated fans will have a say in choosing the team’s Season XI jersey.”

The winning kit will be announced on July 21, and will be found in the online store.
