For the majority of Modern Warfare, the competitive scene has been dominated by two guns, being the M4A1 assault rifle and MP5 submachine gun. These weapons are considered the most balanced in their respective classes. Both deliver a solid damage output while having tremendous range and accuracy. However, there are some in the community that simply don’t like the feel of either weapon, which leaves them looking for a replacement. Well, we may have that replacement with the Kilo-41 assault rifle.

Kilo-41 class set-up

Considered by many to be a reskin of the popular ACR from Modern Warfare 2, the Kilo-41 was extremely popular upon Modern Warfare’s release. It was really a tossup between the Kilo and M4A1 as to which one to use in competitive.

Of course, the M4 eventually won out as it features better accuracy. Although, the Kilo possesses a high rate of fire for an assault rifle, making it popular among rifle players that like to rush. So, if you’re looking for another weapon to use besides the M4 or MP5, maybe you should try out our Kilo-41 class set-up.

Attachments:

●    Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
●    Barrel: Singuard Arms 16.6”
●    Stock: No Stock
●    Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
●    Rear Grip: Stippled Grip Tape

Clearly, these attachments are suited towards the aggressive player. With no optic and no stock, you’re sacrificing long-range accuracy for short-range success. Also, the Stippled Grip Tape allows you to bring your gun up faster, something that comes in very handy when rushing around the map.

These attachments come straight from Dillon “Attach” Price of the New York Subliners. Attach recently published a YouTube video going over this class and why he uses it to dominate the opposition. Of course, Attach is a rush-first style player, so this kind of loadout suits him the best.

However, if you’re looking to use the Kilo-41 but want to stay a little further back, here are some additional attachments you can use:

●    Optic: G.I. Mini Reflex
●    Stock: Forge TAC Ultralight
●    Underbarrel: Operator Foregrip, Merc Foregrip
●    Rear Grip: Granulated Grip Tape

While not the ultimate long-range attachments, these will give you a fighting chance at both long and short-range engagements. If you’re playing with a teammate using an M4A1 that’s catered to accuracy, maybe let them deal with any long-range gunfights and you play the middle of the map, letting the MP5 players rush around up close.

The rest of the class

In regards to the additional aspects of your loadout, these are fairly standard across the board. You can still use whatever you feel most comfortable with, but this equipment, perk choices, and Field Upgrades are what most competitive players use.

Perks
●    1. Double Time/E.O.D.
●    2. Pointman
●    3. Battle Hardened

Equipment
●    Lethal: Semtex/Frag Grenade
●    Tactical: Flash/Stun Grenade

Field Upgrade
●    Dead Silence
●    Trophy System
