Team Liquid has partnered with IMC to host a 24-hour charity stream called Trading and Gaming, in order to raise money for Room to Read.

Liquid's influencers such as Brandon "oh Nocturnal" Singeris, "Slysssa", Kashan "Chillindude" Khan, Lucas "Mendo" Håkansson, Kevin "Harstem" Koning, Jonas "AverageJonas" Navarsete, and Haris "Hodsic" Hodzic, will be a part of the team that will compete and entertain to raise money and awareness for the charity.

With the motto of "World Change Starts with Educated Children", Room to Read is a charity that are aiming to create "a world free of illiteracy and gender inequality" by building schools and working to support young girls in their education.

Together with IMC, Team Liquid's influencers will stream non-stop for 24-hours, with all proceeds from donations going directly to the charity. The annual event will assist Room to Read in continuing their work, in which they have already helped over 23 million children in low-income communities in Africa.

Victor Goossens, Founder and Co-CEO of Team Liquid said, "A big part of our decision to partner with IMC was because of a shared desire to help others."

He continued to say, "It’s incredible that we’re able to do this while playing games. We encourage all of our fans to tune in, watch the matches and support our players as we try to make this the most successful year yet for Room to Read.”

Steven Biester, Global Head of Marketing at IMC, added, "We are passionate about nurturing and developing talent and that’s because we recognise that people are at the heart of our success. We’re committed to the next generation, and that is why we fully support Room to Read’s ambitions.

"Success should not be limited to those who are fortunate enough to be born and raised in high-income countries."

The stream kicked off earlier this morning, although you can tune into Team Liquid's Twitch to continue supporting the charity.

Room to Read can also receive donations via their website, in case you miss the Team Liquid Twitch stream.
