Call of Duty Warzone’s Season Three update has been a controversial one. For many, it’s brought a good amount of new content to help facilitate some exciting moment-to-moment battle royale action, and for others, it’s not enough. Fans and popular streamers have been speaking out about the new content, as well as the bugs and glitches that are inevitable in such a popular online game after a patch as huge as season three’s. And one unintended effect of the new update has been giving players more weapons than they had bargained for.

What Is Warzone’s 10 Weapon Glitch?

Reddit user leespeed91 has shared a video of their encounter with a loadout box, and the strange glitch that’s got a lot of fans talking. Upon opening the loadout box and selecting their weapons, another four of each of their weapons, the HDR and the RPG, fall to the ground. The most crucial elements of his loadout are now in assortment on the ground, ready for any passer-by to pinch and put to use.

Curiously, however, it doesn’t seem like the first time this has happened.

Why Are So Many Players Experiencing Warzone’s Weapon Duplication Glitch?

It looks like Warzone Season Three has a problem with weapon duplication that goes a little further than one video on Reddit. Some commenters on the post have shared their experiences of getting more guns than they’d bargained for.

One user suggests they’ve faced this same problem, commenting: “This happened to me with a loadout at the carnival in south downtown. So many AN94s”.

“I was getting dupe items off dead players in plunder tonight,” says another commenter, suggesting that this isn’t a problem with loadout boxes, but with Warzone at large.

It’s a glitch that could seriously impact the fairness of the game, as anyone could pick up the extra weapons and use them as much as they like, and if they choose to stay in the same spot, they could be playing with unlimited ammo too.

It’s a strange glitch, and one that hopefully sees a fix soon, because as strange as it may seem, this odd glitch could bring some serious balancing problems to Warzone. And knowing the problems it already as, it does not need any more.
