Star Wars Battlefront x Among Us Mod Makes Yoda An Imposter
The whoosh of a lightsaber can be heard in Among Us as a new Star Wars Battlefront II mod has added crewmates and imposters to EA DICE's sci-fi shooter. While Star Wars Battlefront II has been out since 2017 and dropped its final update of content in April, modders are keen to keep the spirit of the Rebellion alive.
Now, Yoda has been swapped out for Imposters and there's a murderous twist coming to the battle between the Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire.
With there being an unprecedented climb to the top of the Twitch charts for Among Us - some two years after it was first released - our current obsession with the game of space Whodunnit is everywhere right now. InnerSloth's simplistic game is continuing to grab headlines and the attention of streamers like Tyler "Ninja" Blevins, PewDiePie, and even KSI.
It was only a matter of time before we started seeing Imposters pop up elsewhere, and with both Star Wars Battlefront II and Among Us sharing galaxies far, far away, it was a crossover just waiting to happen.
Heading over to Nexus Mods, you'll be able to find the Among Us mod, which swaps Yoda for those pint-sized. crewmates. Don't worry, it's not just Green on offer, meaning you can play as whichever classic Imposter colour you want. We're personally a fan of seeing a tiny Cyan Imposter launch itself across the Battlefront II playing field.
When it comes to Yoda, we're used to watching the Master Jedi flip his way around Battlefront II and cause some serious damage with his iconic green lightsaber. Although Imposters don't get to wield Yoda's signature saber, they still take out the opposition in the blink of an eye with the mod.
Among Us mods for other games are becoming increasingly popular. We've already seen Imposters pop round for some murder most foul in the likes of The Sims 4 and Minecraft.
How much longer until someone mods Among Us' laptop to run DOOM or we see an Imposter skin appearing in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout? Still, seeing Yoda being turned into a sneaky Imposter with murder in his eyes could be one of the best mods yet.
In the words of Master Yoda himself, "Hmmm, Imposter not am I".
