Skyrim Player's Thor Build Is Even Stronger Than The MCU
It's hammer time in Tamriel, as one player's impressive Skyrim build puts even Chris Hemsworth's Thor to shame. Modding is obviously a big deal in the world of Bethesda's fantasy showstopper, however, away from Thomas the Tank Engine and Randy "Macho Man" Savage dragons, this unmodded God of Thunder feels right at home.
While we've enjoyed the fifth chapter in The Elder Scrolls saga for a whole decade, that doesn't mean our love of Skyrim has diminished. With the recent release of the Skyrim Anniversary Edition, things are alive and well in the realm. Still, the addition of Thor is a "shock" to the system.
How Do You Add Thor To Skyrim?
Playing as the Dragonborn is all well and good, but when you want to spice things up a bit, what better way than playing as Thor? Giving us a God of War (2018) crossover we never knew we needed, redditor u/teejbreakbeat showed off Thor in all his Norse glory.
Best yet, the Thor build doesn't use any mods, as the OP adds this formidable force to Skyrim. Here, the player selected Nord and chose the Stalhrim Mace as their version of Mjolnir.
They then added shock destruction magic and heavy armour to give the look of Thor's lightning abilities. The cherry on top is the lightning cloak spell and dragon aspect for Thor's glowing eyes.
The video shows off Thor in style and is brilliantly set to Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" that was used in Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok. Others loved this vanilla Thor build, with one writing "I love the cartoonish, fantastical size of the stahlrim mace. One of the few one handed weapons that looks like it could legit kill a dragon."
Another added: "I tried this roleplay build months ago. It was fun, but he was so OP that I got bored with it fairly quickly. Now a Loki build was great. And you can get it to look exactly like him," while a third said, "Bring me Alduin."
What's Next For The Elder Scrolls?
Despite being ported onto nearly every device imaginable, the Skyrim community is still going strong a whole 10 years later. There are obvious questions about what comes next, and thankfully, we know what is.
The Elder Scrolls 6 was officially announced at E3 2018. Despite confirmations it will be an Xbox exclusive to marry Microsoft's recent purchase of Bethesda, we've been warned The Elder Scrolls 6 is a long way off. Here's hoping you'll be able to wield Mjolnir whenever The Elder Scrolls 6 finally comes out.
