Who doesn't love a trip down memory lane? RuneScape is arguably the most nostalgic game that has ever existed, alongside the likes of World of Warcraft, with over 200 million players worldwide being introduced to PC gaming through the massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG).

For many players, RuneScape can be considered as their birthing into gaming as endless hours were poured into the game after school and across the weekends. Some of the best esports personalities as we know them now were browsing the world of Gielinor at the mere age of 10, before advancing to the more advanced esports when they came out.

Michael "shroud" Grzesiek was one of those millions of players who roamed the medieval fantasy lands before the release of CounterStirke where he made his name at Cloud9. The gigantic Twitch icon recently logged back on to his RuneScape account and was genuinely stunned at what he found.

The Canadian managed to crack his email and password from sixteen years ago and was flabbergasted at how little he had achieved on the account. “That’s it? That’s all I’m worth? That’s all I managed to achieve at the age of 10?” he exclaimed to his stream, before pleading innocence at his rookie status.

When flicking through his inventory shroud stated: “I don’t believe this is all I have", clearly upset at his former self. He continued saying “There is no way this is all I managed to accumulate when I played that long ago".

Later on the stream, it was found that the former CS:GO pro played just 42 days on RuneScape, but still managed to enjoy himself throughout the realms, completing numerous quests.

With a surge of nostalgia coursing through his veins, maybe he should check on his Puffles from Club Penguin - they could do with being fed.
