The Pokemon Legends: Arceus release date is oh so close, meaning the anticipation of fans is too much to handle. To add even more excitement, there is an Arceus leak claiming that seven brand new Arceus Pokemon could be making their debuts in the new game.

The leak continues to make a number of claims about the upcoming title, which has sent fans into overdrive.

Of course, it's important to take this information with a big pinch of salt as none of the claims have been confirmed by either Nintendo or Game Freak. However, if it does turn out to be true, then it could mean there are some exciting things to come for Pokemon fans.

What Does The Pokémon Legends: Arceus Leak Claim?

The leak made a big splash on Twitter after it was shared by Pokemon theorist and leaker, Eclipse. In the scoop, Eclipse claimed that, as well as there being seven new Pokemon, there will be 17 different Hisuian variants. For players who are unfamiliar with the game, this refers to the ancient Hisui region in which Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be set and players can build the region first Pokedex.

Eclipse doesn't go on to name any Pokemon specifically. Not to worry though, as the leaker went on to claim that it all "will become a public knowledge very soon". Fans commenting on the post then responded by sharing which Pokemon they think could be making an appearance.

You can check out the full list of Pokémon we know will be featured in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, here. We, also now know that Hisuian Pokemon Zorua and Zoroark will be popping by.

What Other Pokemon Legends: Arceus Leaks Have There Been?

There have been a fair few leaks surrounding Pokemon Legends: Arceus in the lead-up to its release. For example, there was one gamer who claimed that two new Hisuian forms will be featured in the game.

Not to mention, rumours began to circulate that it won't be an open-world game like Nintendo teased. Despite the expansive landscape of its map, Nintendo then went on to confirm the rumours were true.

There's no guarantee that leaks about the seven new Arceus Pokemon are true. However, if they are, no doubt fans will be ecstatic to hear about the update and are counting down the days until we can finally explore the luscious landscape of the Hisui region with more little 'mons in tow.
