League Of Legends Leak Gives Sneak Peek At Seraphine's Abilities

Back in June, League of Legends announced that two new champions were in development. One being an "ultra-heavy tank support" and the other being a "sensational mage". With the introduction of the stunning new Champion, Seraphine, fans put two and two together to realise the magical-mermaid-esque social media sensation was set to be the mage. Using the stars and the sea, Seraphine is due to wield magic to support her teammates and fellow champions in Runeterra.

The pink-haired beauty has been teasing fans for weeks with her social media pages - especially Twitter. The champion, and unconfirmed (yet apparent) Riot Games staff, have been tweeting about her day-to-day life and dropping hints of what she'll be like when she lands in-game. Seraphine has even collaborated with League of Legends K-pop group K/DA (Ahri - Miyeon, Akali - Soyeon, Evelynn - Bae Miller/Madison Beer, Kai'Sa - Wolftyla/Jaira Burns).

As her arrival in League of Legends nears, prominent LoL leaker "SkinSpotlights" has seemingly leaked the mage's abilities.

The leaked abilities are "Echo" and "Shield", with the files stating: "Every third basic ability cast will echo, casting it again. Casting an ability grants a Note to nearby allies for [0] seconds. For each Note, Seraphine's next attack gains attack range and deals additional magic damage", confirming her mage status. For the latter ability, the files also state: "Shield all nearby ally champions for [0] damage, and grants them Movement Speed for [4] seconds. If Seraphine is already shielded, nearby allies are healed for [5]% of their missing health for each ally".

Reddit users have already discussed how Seraphine would fit into League of Legends in the midst of this leak, with many coming to the conclusion that she "seems to be a much stronger version of Sona and Karma" with similar abilities, although some have guessed that she could work in tandem with Sona to become a hugely overpowered duo.

While the abilities don't show too much variety from different Champions, Seraphine could be the most powerful healing mage that we have seen so far. It's only a matter of time before we see her make her mark on League of Legends.
