September PS Plus Games Have Been Leaked
For some, the ‘monthly free games’ archetype is growing a bit stale. Now, as we sit in the wake of the arrival of Game Pass, something that has dramatically shifted the way that we consume games, the free games we get every month seem to pale in comparison. Games with Gold has become notorious for offering some pretty forgettable titles - but PS Plus seems to bring some great titles with it, so far since the arrival of the PS5 bringing with it one next-gen title every month.
But while fans have been underwhelmed recently, the service has had its next titles leaked, and it looks to be bringing one of the best co-op games of the last decade in September.
PlayStation Plus’ September Titles Have Leaked
Thanks to a post on Dealabs, a site that has accurately leaked and predicted upcoming titles for PS Plus before, we now have some insight as to the games we’ll get to see as a part of its September drop.
Leading the charge as the PS Plus September headliner is Overcooked! All You Can Eat, an amalgam title of the hectic cooking co-op game Overcooked, its sequel Overcooked 2 and some extra bonus content. The game is a massive throwback to the charming couch co-op games of yesteryear and is well worth giving a spin upon its release.
Second up is Hitman 2, the sophomore effort of the classic assassin series’ lineage of reboots. It received massive critical acclaim and many thought it was a return to form for the series, so if you played the classics, this could be your way back in.
Finally, there is Predator: Hunting Grounds, the ultimate replication of the film’s nauseating stalking. With one player taking the role of the titular hunter and others taking the roles of soldiers, fulfilling tasks in at the iconic jungle base. If you reckon you can take on the Predator, give the game a whirl.
When Is September’s PS Plus Roster Coming?
If we said September’s PS Plus games were coming in September, would you believe us?
Specifically, the games arrive on September 7, and will be there until October 5. So you’ve got some time to bag the current games before their prices return for good.
This roster is a great step up for PS Plus, and who knows - maybe next month’s leak could be even better.
