Are you sitting comfortably? Secretlab is back and showing off its latest line of chairs, with the TITAN Evo 2022 series hoping to top last year's best-selling TITAN and OMEGA line. By now, we're sure you've heard of Secretlab and the TITAN chair - which lives up to its gargantuan name beyond 2020.

Not content with sitting on its laurels, Secretlab returns with an upgraded hybrid of 2020's TITAN and OMEGA lines that hope to usher in a new era.

What is the TITAN Evo 2022 from Secretlab?

According to Secretlab, the plans for the TITAN Evo came from a desire to top 2020's chairs, which were rated as the company's best by many. So what's under the hood? The "most technologically advanced chair to date" takes the best bits of OMEGA and TITAN by uniting them under one roof. With this, we are promised improved ergonomics and comfort, deeper personalisation, pebble seat base, and an overhauled lumbar support system.

For those intense gaming sessions, there's an upgraded version of Secretlab's signature SoftWeave fabric that's better at breathing. Added to this, there's PRIME 2.0 PU leather, which is 12 times more durable than regular PU leather. If you want to lie back and relax, there's a magnetic memory foam cushion and magnetic armrests, so you can swap to your favourite material in a matter of seconds.

The new L-ADAPT Lumbar System is Secretlab's most versatile yet and has been engineered with a completely new internal mechanism. There's precise adjustability in four directions, while owners can adjust it both up and down or in and out. This means you can customise your support for "work, play or a midday snooze" - don't tempt us.

What have experts said about Secretlab's TITAN Evo 2022?

To help beat the competition, Secretlab assembled an independent Ergonomics Advisory Board of academics and experts in the fields of biomechanics, orthopaedics, and more. This crack team worked with Secretlab engineers to refine the "next generation of gaming seats". The findings were then put together and placed into the TITAN Evo 2022 prototypes ahead of the finished product.

Among those who helped work on the Ergonomics Advisory Board was physical therapist Dr Jordan Tsai. Explaining what makes the TITAN Evo 2022 different, Tsai said, "I can feel comfortable recommending Secretlab products to esports players I work with because I know they have incorporated needed features with player health in mind.

"The Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 features new ergonomic considerations including a redesigned seat base, additional adjustability to the lumbar support, and an improved backrest to enable better sitting posture".

Championing the TITAN Evo 2022 as the Lamborghini of the chair world, Head of Product Development Vincent Sin explained, "We went over years of data and feedback collected from our million-strong global users. At the same time, we spent hours reading and watching reviews on websites and YouTube to learn more about what people liked or didn’t like about our chairs.

"We knew that we had a really solid foundation that we could build on. This meant taking what our chairs were known for and making these features even better". Still, there's a sense of familiarity with the Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022.

Alongside the usual medium-firm consistency of the patent-pending cold cure foam formation, there's the multi-tilt mechanism that takes you back to up to 165 degrees of recline, and XL PU casters that let you glide across most floors. If you're sold, the TITAN Evo 2022 comes in three sizes (Small, Regular, and XL). All in all, it sounds like Secretlab has thought of everything.

Expect the Secretlab TITAN 2022 to be available from the Secretlab site soon.
