Capcom confirmed earlier this year that Resident Evil 3 would have a pre-launch demo available to play, just like the Resident Evil 2 remake before it. They didn’t, however, provide a release date for the demo.

Update: The Resident Evil 3 remake demo launched on March 19, 2020

Thanks to Twitter horror-game leaker @AestheticGamer1, we now know that the Resident Evil 3 demo may arrive this Friday, March 20th. AestheticGamer1 revealed this info in reply to a tweet from a curious gamer.

Before the 2019 release of the Resident Evil 2 remake, a demo was also released around two to three weeks before the full game launched.

The demo should include around 30 minutes of gameplay as Jill Valentine, but may also give players a glance at the added Resident Evil 3: Resistance mode, a 1v4 online multiplayer Saw-style horror survival game.

The full release for RE3 is April 3rd, for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
