Red Dead Redemption 2 is already a pretty expansive experience as it is. The rootin’, tootin’, cowboy shootin’ simulator is possibly Rockstar Games’ greatest technical achievements - offering one of the most immersive gaming experiences of the last decade and creating a vast open-world that simply begs to be explored.

But, somehow, the game didn’t offer enough world for players to explore. Now, one mod has returned to offer a massive new world to explore. It gives you plenty to do when you've polished off Arthur Morgan's story.

A huge series of mods have brought the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 to Mexico since the game’s launch, but the big trouble is that many of these locations have to be individually downloaded. Thankfully, one giant map melds every piece of Mexico content on the Nexus Mods website together for one giant expansion.

The mod includes the arrival of Escalera, Chuparosa, Casa Madrugada, and El Matadero - among other locations - with some camps peppered in the gaps to make your journey across Mexico much less laborious.

The mod also promises to be "lore-friendly", so you don’t have to worry too much about deferring from the core story of Red Dead Redemption 2 if you still haven’t finished it.

The huge mod pack is available to be downloaded from the Nexus Mods website, but the creator of the mod has suggested that you get Lenny’s Mod Loader and Script Hook RDR2 installed before cracking on with the super-mod. Alternatively, the mod page offers each individual mod pack instead, if you’d rather pick and choose.

The expansiveness of Red Dead Redemption 2 clearly wasn’t enough for some, and it’s proven in the sheer scale of the Mexico mod. Fingers crossed that fans keep making massive mods like this until the entire planet is recreated in-game.
