It looks like PlayStation are playing catch-up. There’s no doubt that the advent of the Xbox Game Pass has shaken the gaming industry, offering flexibility and an array of games never before seen at a monthly price. Of course, there’s Xbox Live Gold that dishes out some free games to players, but it hasn’t got a patch on the Game Pass library. And the absence of a similar service from PlayStation can be felt. That’s where PlayStation Now comes in.

PlayStation Now is a similar service that offers players a series of games to download or stream for a monthly price, coming in at £1 less a month than Xbox Game Pass, with a large array of games at the player’s disposal. The service isn’t quite as popular as Xbox’s, but that could all be about to change, as a new array of games have been announced for Now - and one of them is one of the biggest games of the last few years.

The latest announcement regarding the next games coming to PlayStation Now has finally come about, and it’s bringing a whopper of a title to subscribers. This July, Red Dead Redemption 2, Moving Out, Judgement, Nioh 2, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, and Nascar Heat 5 will be coming to Now.

The latest title in the Red Dead series made waves among fans upon release in 2018 and serves as an incredibly immersive peek into the lives of outlaws in 1899.

It’s a great lineup of titles that spans a large array of genres, and luckily, players won’t have to wait long to play them. In fact, they won’t have to wait at all.

Lucky for you PlayStation Now subscribers! The games are set to launch on July 6 - that’s today. So you don’t have to wait for another second to get a head-start on these games. Get them downloaded and give them a spin!

These additions to PlayStation Now are impressive and have given players much more of a reason to subscribe. Who knows - if they stay on this trajectory, they could be seriously competing with the Game Pass in no time.
