Maybe not to die for, but definitely good for a scare.

Overwatch is back with its annual Halloween event and has once again introduced skins. This year, they are drop-dead gorgeous while also frighteningly spooky. The three epic skins of the bunch, which honestly could count for legendary skins based on their quality, can be unlocked by playing nine matches each week for the next three weeks. Get them now, the event will only be around for a short time!

Fantasma Sombra - Unlocked through challenge - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

Sombra's Fantasma skin is truly cyber-scary. Her black jacket acts as a screen of sorts, flashing teal and blue colours in cryptic patterns. You can only unlock this skin for a limited time, so get on it while you can. It likely won't become available for purchase until next year.

Stone Brigitte - Unlocked through challenge - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

The power-creep golem demands attention. The beautifully ornamented stone armour is lined with fissures of molten lava that appear to give life to the rock-solid support hero. Look mom, no pupils! She will also be unlocked by playing nine games.

Ragdoll Echo - Unlocked through challenge - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

Chucky gone Artificial Intelligence. The patched-up doll is missing an eye and is bursting at the seams with spooky energy. There are even some woodland creature vibes in the braches of her crown to be found. How is Ragdoll Echo not a legendary skin?

Shin-Ryeong D.Va - Legendary skin - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

A homage to the mythical creature the nine-tailed fox, Shin-Ryeong D.Va is perfectly demonic with claws, fox ears and tails iterating on the usual D.Va character. Her Mech comes with a bambooed roof and wooden build with her arms exposed outside of a purple bubble.

Dai-Tengu Hanzo - Legendary skin - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

Building once again on mythological creatures from Asian culture, Dai-Tengu takes its inspiration from Japanese folk religion. His red skin is scaled and scared, donning a bearded mask with a long and sharp nose and a spikey beard as well as eyebrows.

Karasu-Tengu Genji - Legendary skin - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

As Shimada brothers, it's only right that they derive their Halloween skin inspiration from the same source. This Tengu skin comes with a crow them that once again is found in Japanese culture. Maybe not as scary as the other skins, but the red-tipped blade at least suggests that he shouldn't be messed with.

Werewolf Winston - Legendary skin - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

The skin changes Winston's appearance to a point where it could've conceivably been a Roadhog skin, though the glasses give him away. This scientist could definitely make the Twilight series.

Flying Dutchman Sigma - Legendary skin - Overwatch Halloween 2020 Skins

We get it Blizzard, you guys love puns! Dutch hero Sigma basically begged for a ghostly reimagination of his appearance. Ghostly ethereal appearance with wide shoulders sporting both sides of a boat, the skins sports a lot of detail in attaching chains, skulls, barnacles and even sea urchins as his orbs.
