As the major developers around the globe gather to showcase their new designs for upcoming titles, few fan bases were itching for teasers more than those over in the Overwatch Community.

The upcoming Overwatch 2 title has FPS merchants thoroughly anticipating what's to come, and with so many game-changing announcements made so far, the prospect of even more adaptations could either leave a sour taste or give off unbridled joy.

The most recent reveal from Overwatch 2 developers showcased environmentally changing maps, including designs that cover the landscapes with sand storms, blizzards (typical of their name), and rain.

Now, Activision Blizzard has unveiled new concept designs for two Overwatch 2 characters

Overwatch 2 Baptiste Concept

With new characters such as Sojourn being announced, and confirmed reworks for the likes of Bastion, the future of many of the existing Heroes has yet to be determined.

However, within their showcase at Summer Game Fest, Blizzard offered just a glimpse of one main healer that will be in Overwatch 2: Baptiste.

The combat media of Caribbean descent will be added to Overwatch 2 with a new silky surgeon-like design and a squeaky-clean Immortality Field drone.

Overwatch 2 Sombra Concept

Similarly, Sombra will be coming into Overwatch 2 with a fresh new look. The termagant bad-ass keeps her piercing looks and fierce attitude, with a splash of sassiness in her step.

Sombra's Overwatch 2 kit will see her marvel in the role of heroine, with a blue undertone being added to her favourite pink palette. With a haircut worthy of a demi-goddess, the offensive hacker will continue her devil-may-care approach, raining hell upon the enemy teams.

With a lack of tanks planned for the 5v5 stylistic, Sombra may quickly become a fan-favourite in Overwatch 2.

Both heroes will be available in the game upon its release.
