NSFW Sims 2 Glitch Makes Characters Nude
Ahhhh the good old days of The Sims 2. Arguably, the golden age of the franchise. Sure, 3 and 4 are more advanced with a whole load of new expansion features and better graphics, but The Sims 2 gave us alien abductions, random cutscenes, and chance to trap that Sim you don't like in a swimming pool (we all did it).
Then, there were the glitches. Oh, the glorious glitches. One player revisiting the game, for example, was stunned to find a glitch in which their Sim ended up floating in mid-air, naked.
What is the nude Sim glitch?
Why exactly the glitch caused the Sim to be nude is completely unknown. Although, any Simmers out there know that when it comes to The Sims 2, sometimes there is just no explanation. It's clear that the pregnant Sim is having a shower on the second storey of their house, only for the walls, floor and shower to just disappear.
Normally, when a Sim is nude, the game pixelates their body so nothing is explicitly shown, but not in this case. You can check out the original post here, just make sure to mentally prepare yourself first.
Of course, this certainly isn't the first time something weird has happened in the world of The Sims 2. In July, 2021, The Sims 2 Nintendo DS players were convinced the game was haunted.
Whether it's causing Sims to swim around in grass or having them just levitating in the air, there is no end to the amount of Sims 2 glitches out there that have produced some hilariously weird results. However, Sims 4 isn't entirely innocent either. YouTuber, Vixella, shared a video of her reaction to the series of Sims 4 glitches that have occurred during her playthrough.
Did The Sims Make A Comeback During The Coronavirus Lockdown?
During the Coronavirus pandemic, video game usage went up by 75%, according to Hollywood Reporter. With so many unable to leave their home and looking for a bit of escapism amidst such a crazy year, people were drawn to the world of video games or even returning to the classic games of their childhood. It's no surprise then that some have noticed an increase in players revisiting The Sims.
For example, YouTuber, Kevin "Call Me Kevin" O'Reilly, chronicled his hilarious return to The Sims 2 and experienced his own plethora of bizarre bugs and glitches.
Unfortunately, if you're looking to revisit the crazy world of The Sims 2, the game isn't available to purchase from any official source. Still, you could go old-school and buy the PC CD versions of the game. For now, Dag Dag (if you know, you know).
