While there has been no official confirmation yet from the gang at Epic Games regarding Fortnite Chapter 3, if rumours are to be believed then it's just around the corner- so long to our hopes of a 10-season Chapter 2.

But one thing's for sure, leaks are aplenty and there's tons of buzz going around the Fortnite community about the future of the game's battle royale map. The latest reveal has come in the form of Fortnite Chapter 3 weapon leak that is possibly arriving at the inception of the next era.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Weapon Leak: What Can We Expect?

According to reputable Fortnite leaker, HYPEX, C3 will be bringing a whole host of new weapons, including a 'throwable axe'.

It's important to note there's currently no other information about the axe in the game's coding, but that it is likely to be arriving in phase two, which is currently named 'Artemis' in the back-end files.

There's a lot of information floating around about the future of Fortnite's upcoming chapter, ranging from a whole new map layout to sliding mechanisms.

The new map is rumoured to be so big, that it could feature two storm circles that will eventually combine into the final circle. It's set to include a range of terrains, from snowy mountains to hot desert pyramids, as well as a whole host of vehicles like snowmobiles, jet skis, and even underwater swimming.

One of the biggest new rumours is that Chapter 3 has been made using Unreal Engine 5, so as well as a completely new style, it'll look even more crisp and high definition than ever (unless you're playing on a Nintendo Switch).

When Is Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1?

At the time of writing, there is currently no official indication about Fortnite Chapter 3, however, it is heavily rumoured to be arriving on December 7, 2021. This will mean that Epic has decided to bypass Chapter 2's seasons 9 and 10, and instead allow the Cube Queen to take over and destroy the entire C2 map again - throwing the world as we currently know it into a black hole.

With just two weeks left to go until the end of the current battle pass date, it's only a matter of time before 'The End' arrives and catapults us into a whole new era of Fortnite.
