New Apex Legends Season 11 Trailer Just Dropped
The trailer for the latest season of Apex Legends has been unveiled, and we’re excited to get back into Respawn’s battle royale to try everything that’s coming - especially new character Ash.
Season 11 is set to begin once Season 10 concludes on November 2, according to the timings on the current Battle Pass, meaning we should see the newest update starting November 3 at 10:00 PST/13:00 EST/18:00 BST.
Ash's story seems very interesting, and we managed to delve more into it throughout the trailer.
What did the trailer tell us about Season 11?
The trailer appears to show Ash as a scientist, then in a hospital bed where she's lost a lot of blood, with life-changing injuries. She then goes all 'The Six Million Dollar Man' on us, with her consciousness seemingly struggling to make sense of what's happening.
We then hear Horizon's voice, and Pathfinder appears to find a simulacrum in a dumpster. The body is then used to replace her human form. We know that there's some serious beef between Ash and Horizon, and that this will continue as a story arc as the new season develops.
What did we initially expect from the new season?
A teaser that Respawn dropped on the official Apex Legends Twitter last week pointed us to a new character on the way, who was rumoured to be Ash. In the comic book teaser, we saw Season 7 Legend Horizon as she attempts to wake someone up.
As is tradition, there were some in-game teasers to find too, that were three laptops bearing a download screen that mentioned Bangalore and her brother.
There were some leaks concerning a new map too. With only three in rotation right now, fans are hungry for a new arena to spill some blood in, and GarretLeaks chimed in to tell us of a rumoured 'Tropics' map. Though the leaks are a few months old, it’s been roughly six months since the latest map was released.
