After a rather disappointing LCS season, TSM are set to shuffle their pack again, as their $6million 2020 signing is set to live alongside an eight-year-long dynasty coming to a close.

Hu "SwordArt" Shuo-Chieh has been reported to be leaving the organisation after just one year, despite being the record signing in the LCS when he made the switch from Suning Gaming. SwordArt’s transition from the Worlds runners up to the TSM has not been as successful as first hoped, having failed to win either the LCS Summer or Spring splits and qualify for Worlds 2021.

According to Dot Esports reporters Pablo "Bloop" Suarez and Jacob Wolf, SwordArt will leave his post as TSM’s star Support player, as the TSM coaches confirmed that they will be hunting for "rising stars" as they rebuild their roster.

TSM Owner Andy "Reginald" Dinh and Team Manager Parth "Parth" Naidu also confirmed reports that Søren "Bjergsen” Bjerg will also leave TSM this year, wanting to come out of retirement and try his hand back in the Mid-Lane. Admitting that TSM offered Bjergsen an extensive playing contract to come out of retirement, the Mid-lane superstar has decline, in search of a new organisation.

Upcomer Reporter Tyler "Fionn" Erzberger also detailed that his likely destination could be Team Liquid, when his contract expires on November 15. The move to Team Liquid would see Bjergsen slot into the Mid-line as Nicolaj "Jensen" Jensen would transition to the AD Carry role over Thomas "Jenkins" Tran.

Bjergsen has cemented a dynasty at TSM, having been at the organisation for eight years. During his tenure at TSM, he was considered one of NA’s greatest ever Mid-laners, taking the organisation to five World Championship appearances and winning six LCS titles.

As for the new home of SwordArt, it is unknown whether he will return to China for the 2022 season or look to become a target for another LCS titan – possibly Cloud9.
