Everything You Need To Know About New Call Of Duty Operator Morte
Call of Duty welcomes a new operator on September 8 - Morte. Morte is a Warcom operator of the Coalition faction, and features in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. But who is he?
WHO IS MORTE CALL OF DUTY?
Morte (which means "death" in Italian) is the newest operator in Season 5 of Modern Warfare. Morte's real name is Sergio Sulla, and the Italian operator is here to bring his form of vigilante justice to the game. A skilled recon-expert and tracker, Morte has a cowboy vibe, and takes that Old West approach to his gunfights - by making his own rules. Morte served with the legendary Col Moschin paratrooper regiment in Italy before being selected to join Warcom.

The new addition to Modern Warfare, Morte, is voiced by Italian rapper and entertainer Fabio Rovazzi. Rovazzi is best known in Italy for his music, including songs songs "Andiamo a comandare", "Tutto molto interessante", and "Volare".
Rovazzi also lent his face to the appearance of Morte, using photogrammetry to make Morte as realistic (and as similar) to Rovazzi as possible. Rovazzi posted a YouTube video of the process, titled "HOW I ENTERED INTO A VIDEOGAME", showing us just how he entered the world of Modern Warfare. In the video, Rovazzi explains how the Infinity Ward studio mapped his face to insert him into the game, and revealed how he "didn't think twice" when given the opportunity.

To play as the new operator Morte, you'll need to purchase his Operator Bundle when it arrives in the store.
