Modern Warfare Season 6 is live, and it is filled with spectral skins and items, as Activision prepares for the Black Ops Cold War Zombies reveal and a Halloween event in Warzone: "Haunting of Verdansk".

Haunting of Verdansk is a confirmed limited-time game mode which will be coming to Warzone later this month to tie in with Halloween, and will submerge Verdansk into the dark, with an eerie atmosphere. Whether you're used to darting around the map in a bertha, dropping tango's in an abundance, or are a stealthy sniper, the surroundings will switch your gameplay up massively as visibility will become limited and the supernatural takes over.

Alongside Haunting of Verdansk, a range of Halloween cosmetics are available, as even Friday the 13th's Jason Vorhees will be available later in the season. Fluffy the Hellhound is available to be purchased as part of a bundle in the store, where the fiery four-legged zombie can ignite opponents with incredible finishing moves. Another finishing move has become available through the Modern Warfare Season 6 Batlle Pass which will see a "Vampire Bat" swoop on your opponent and finish off the kill.

The limited-time event will come later in the season, which will allow players to earn more unearthly rewards, including Jason Vorhees' Butterfly Knife. Likely to be running over the Halloween holiday period at the end of October, Warzone will play host to ghouls and ghosts alike, so make sure you have your night vision goggles and thermal sights at the ready.

Call of Duty League winner Ian "Crimsix" Porter will be delighted, as he spent $22,000 on real-life night vision goggles with his World Championships winnings.

Bravo Six, Going Dark.
