Modern Warfare Season Two is just a day away and there’s a ton to be excited for. From the new maps to the new weapons, fans won’t be bored for at least a few weeks. Earlier today, Infinity Ward officially released the content that will arrive with Season Two on Feb. 11. While there’s a ton of cosmetic items releasing, we’re going to take a look at the non-cosmetic arrivals and how they’re going to help you in Season Two.

The weapons of Modern Warfare Season Two

Though it was a leak for some time, we now have confirmation of the weapons coming with the new season. Infinity Ward has confirmed to the community that the Grau 5.56 and Striker-45 will arrive tomorrow.

However, these won’t be given to you automatically, so you’ll most likely have to complete a challenge to earn them. Although, once you do, you’ll have immediate access to a new assault rifle and submachine gun.

The Garu 5.56 looks to be similar to the Swat 5.56 from Black Ops 4 last year. An accurate rifle, these types of weapons tend to be very popular among fans, and for good reason. They don’t take much skill to use but if you figure out how to master the weapon, it can be deadly. The Grau 5.56 should be a fan-favorite unless it’s damage is underpowered out of the gate.

As for the Striker-45, long-time fans will recognize this as the UMP-45 from Modern Warfare 2 and 3. A beloved weapon, the UMP-45 is accurate at all ranges and has a high damage output. However, Infinity Ward won’t make it as overpowered as it was in previous titles. So, fans should expect the Striker-45 to be a solid SMG, but it will be difficult for it to overtake the MP5.

Going over the Season Two maps

Arriving tomorrow are also four new maps, one for each different multiplayer mode. We have two Gunfight maps, two 6v6 maps, and one Ground War. If that math doesn’t add up, it’s because one map is releasing as a Gunfight and 6v6 map.

That would be Rust, everyone’s favorite close-quarters map from Modern Warfare 2. It appears that not much has changed with Rust, as it still features a desert atmosphere with the same large, metal piping. Rust should be a fantastic addition to the game, as Modern Warfare doesn’t feature the smallest of maps.

As for the other additions, we have the 6v6 map Atlas Superstore. From the trailer, this looks like a medium-sized area for players to fight on. We can’t tell too much from the small footage we have, however.

In regards to Ground War, Zhokov Boneyard is the latest introduction. We do have an image of this map, and it appears to be a big change-up to the previous Ground War maps. Instead of being full of large buildings, Zhokov Boneyard has many small areas for close-quarters engagement.

Lastly, we have the second Gunfight map, Bazaar. There’s not much to say about this one since most of the Gunfight maps follow a very specific format.

Modern Warfare Season Two drops on Feb. 11 at 10am PST / 6pm GMT
