Minecraft Player Recreates Apex Legends Locations And It Looks Amazing
Missing the World's Edge map in Apex Legends? One Minecraft player has you covered.
Redditor and Japanese player kurobekuro shared their incredible creations made in Minecraft, where they recreated several locations from the Apex Legends World's Edge map, including instantly recognisable POIs such as Harvester and Train Yard.
Along with Mirage Voyage (RIP), made of out of gold blocks, and Epicenter, complete with towering ice spikes, the Minecraft'd locations look almost as good as the real thing.
Also given the Minecraft treatment were two guns, the R-99 SMG and the VK-47 Flatline AR, and even some Legends' Ultimate abilities made the cut. Bloodhound's Beast of the Hunt, Octane's Jump Pad, and Wraith's Portal were given a blocky Minecraft makeover.
Some have already suggested these locations could be utilised for Minecraft's Battle Royale-esque modes (Hunger Games), with one commenter even saying, " I really want to play on it."
We don't know about you, but we think grappling around as Pathfinder on this recreated map would be insanely fun, especially with an R-99 in tow.
World's Edge is currently not available as a playable map in Apex, due in part to the Chaos Theory Collection Event and Ring Escalation Takeover, so for those who also indulge in the open-world sandbox Mojang title should be pleasantly surprised with the hit of nostalgia.
Check out the video of all the Apex Legends meets Minecraft goodness on the original Reddit post, where kurobekuro adds that the project is not yet complete. Try to ignore the jokes about this looking like the Nintendo Switch version of Apex though...
