In a big and bold return to the world of Mario’s sports titles, Mario Golf: Super Rush looks like it will once again push back against the implied monotony of a video game about golf.

Mario’s sporting titles have a habit of this, bringing a lot of flair and excitement to the likes of soccer and tennis, and now, Mario’s quirks are coming back to the green. Here’s all you need to know about the upcoming title.

Who is developing Mario Golf: Super Rush?

The new Mario Golf title is developed by Camelot Software Planning, the very same company that worked on other Mario sporting titles.

Their backlog boasts titles like Mario Tennis Aces and 2014’s Mario Golf: World Tour, so we know the game’s in good hands. And, of course, the game will be published by Nintendo.

How Much Will Mario Golf: Super Rush Cost?

Mario Golf: Super Rush is listed on Nintendo’s website at $59.99 for preorder, and some retailers in the UK have it listed at £49.99.

But, others like Smyths have it listed for £44.99, so have a look around and you might be able to shave a few quid from your final total!

Will Mario Golf: Super Rush Have Online Multiplayer?

It has been confirmed that Speed Golf mode will be playable online. You won’t have to worry about not taking to the green with your friends, as Nintendo themselves have reassured us you can play together.

The game looks like an exciting return to form for the Mario Golf series with a few extra exciting quirks packed with it too. Roll on June 25, because we can’t wait to jump in and get putting.
