There seems to be an epidemic in the streaming world right now, with some big-name streamers having their live upturned by raids from armed police. Just weeks after Felix "xQc" Lengyel admitted he had to move because of "daily" police swatting, another popular content creator has had his stream invaded by armed police.

Now it's the turn of Louis "LosPollosTV" Sammartino to feel the long arm of the law. LosPollosTV is known for his NBK 2K streams and once holding the record for the world's longest uninterrupted stream. While Sammartino hasn't got anywhere near as many followers as xQc, it looks like he's earned some equal attention for all the wrong reasons.

Why was LosPollosTV raided by armed police?

While playing Fortnite during a July 21 stream, LosPollosTV's stream was spectacularly interrupted by armed police. Although it's unclear what the purpose of the visit was, the men stormed into Sammartino's room and performed a quick search before leaving - one was even seen sporting a riot shield.

A short while later, a presumably cooperating LosPollosTV returned to his stream to try and explain what's going on. Although he didn't go into detail about why the armed police interrupted his game of Fortnite, LosPollosTV said, "Some f*****g p****y… literally swatted my f******g house".

Preempting that the Twitch community would quickly start pointing fingers, LosPollosTV quickly added, "Hey, I don’t want people blaming people bro, I don’t know why people are assuming anything. I’m not blaming anybody for this. I don’t know why you’re assuming that. I don’t know where that came from".

What's happened since LosPollosTV was raided by armed police?

Unfortunately, LosPollosTV's words fell on deaf ears. We love a bit of drama in the Twitch community, and when it's not xQc and Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa arguing over the hot tub meta, it's everyone getting involved in divisive gambling streams

Ironically, some think it's gambling that's at the core of this latest drama. When Ludwig "Ludwig" Ahgren tweeted controversial gambling streamer Tyler "Trainwrecks" Niknam, LosPollosTV waded into and accused Ludwig of using similar methods to promote Pokemon Cards. LosPollosTV wrote, "I lost over $2.000+ buying your Pokemon packs... Promoting Pokemon packs is a gamble for your viewers".

A vexed Ludwig responded, "I'll do ur hw for you cause you didn't- I did a sponsored poker stream that you were literally in maybe that will make you feel better about taking that gambling sponsorship you were offered", but could this really have led to the swatting incident?

Adin Ross shared his own views and responded to LosPollosTV's raid by saying, "Oh, you know what happened bro? He had an argument with this guy named Ludwig. That’s f**ked". It was a bold statement to make and spurred a response from Ludwig, with the latter saying, "That is such a s****y thing to ever say".

A clearly rattled Ludwig added, "It sucks that LosPollosTV, the man who just got swatted, has to say ‘don’t spread hate’ to the guy who doesn’t think twice about what he says".

Ludwig concluded, "I do not care if you are 20, it’s so crazy. And now I have at least 15 people in my DMs telling me it’s gonna be a ‘problem’ if they see me". It's a dangerous game to accuse anyone of being responsible for the LosPollosTV raid, and for now, it looks unlikely that we'll ever really figure out what went down.
