Following their second-to-last-place finish in the 2021 Call of Duty League season, Los Angeles Guerrillas have flipped the script by removing all four of their players and forming a brand-new star-studded line-up.

Despite the best efforts of veteran Bryan "Apathy" Zhelyazkov, LA Guerrillas' second season ended with a whim, which resulted in a complete purging of the roster also consisting of the AR duo of Justin "SiLLY" Fargo-Palmer and Adam "Assault" Garcia, and debutant Billy "MentaL" Putnam.

Now, the Guerrillas have recruited a roster that can upset their city rivals in LA Thieves, and pose as a real threat going into the third franchised year.

LA Guerrillas Sign New CDL Roster

Sticking with their Los Angeles roots of last season, Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat and Cuyler "Huke" Garland will be making the switch from the hoodie org to the hoods up franchise, in a bid to revive their careers after a turbulent year.

Alongside Huke and SlasheR, Guerrillas have captured New York Subliners' route man Obaind "Asim" Asim, after a stellar year in a makeshift roster faced with adversity.

Fresh off the bat of some solid LAN performances on a drowned and out Seattle Surge roster, Pierce "Gunless" Hillman will round off the squad.

Both SlasheR and Gunless come into the roster as the main AR and Flex roles, adding a championship-winning mentality and experience to the team.

Which Other CDL Teams Are Going To Make Changes?

Los Angeles Guerrillas' roster has been the first team to be announced ahead of the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard roster, as nine out of twelve teams are expected to make changes.

Atlanta FaZe, Minnesota Rokkr, and Toronto Ultra are likely to stick with their squads, whilst Guerrillas' noisy neighbours are rumoured to be pulling a heist to capture both Dylan "Envoy" Hannon and Sam "Octane" Larew to replace their departed duo.

With the season yet to be announced, teams could look to wait until Vanguard is released before finalising their contracts to see if any players emerge as surprise talents on the WWII-based title.
