The Gladiators continue their trend of cleaning house.

Ship of Theseus and soon only the purple paint remains! The Overwatch League team Los Angeles Gladiators have released another player in main tank player Min-seok "OGE" Son. According to the organisation, both parties parted ways mutually and OGE will be looking for a new team for 2021.

OGE had been with the Gladiators since late last year as part of the team's efforts to create an English-speaking team of highly skilled players. He remained the starting main tank throughout most of the season with Roni "LhCloudy" Tiihonen only slotting less than two hours of playtime on Reinhardt for the South Korean. Previously, OGE played for the Dallas Fuel which he joined half-way through season 1 as a replacement for Félix "xQc" Lengyel, and he remained there until after the second season of the Overwatch League concluded.

The LA Gladiators had finished in ninth place this season (sixth in the North American division) and therefore placed at the lowest rank in franchise history after two strong first season in which the franchise had been one of the strongest teams in the League. This week, the Gladiators had cleaned house, releasing four of their players, some of which had been with them since their creation in Overwatch League season 1.

The remaining players on the Gladiators roster are:

Indy "SPACE" Halpern
Ji-hyeok "birdring" Kim
Gia Huy "MirroR" Trịnh
Kevin "kevster" Persson

The gladiators will have to sign at least three more players in order to reach the league minimum of seven players by Jan 4, 2021.
