LoL Streamer Creates Incredible Programme To Voice Control Support AI - And It's Sassy
Very few things are as frustrating as having Support mains in League of Legends that think they can pack a punch in solo queues and have a total disregard for their actual responsibilities - but let's be honest, when you're on your lonesome, who can be bothered being a boost for randomers?
Well, imagine if you could just have an AI that would heal and save your life and all you need to do is ask politely...
One streamer has created a programme that will do just that.
Albert "BoxBob" Zheng, a former professional turned streamer and cosplayer, has created a programme that allows him to play both the Mid-Lane and Support roles, controlling the latter with a range of voice commands - and it's better than most individuals.
Programming an AI, named "Bao Bot", the streamer picks Janna as their chosen champion to talk them through the game and assist BoxBox in picking up kills and saving his life.
With simple voice lines such as "Bao Bot, shield me" and "Q6", the AI can assist the streamer in any way imaginable in-game, making it the perfect teammate.
BoxBox showcased his Bao Bot design on stream, and quickly showcased a play where the AI-assisted in healing his champion and shielding him when in attacks.
The only downside is that Bao Bot is built with a sassy side, and will fire a cheeky quip back if it doesn't like your request.
When BoxBox said "Q9" in a quick tone which Janna didn't recognise the Aphrodite-esque champion fired back "be nicer, and I'll think about it". Meow.
The streamer used the voiced controlled AI to win a few games of League of Legends throughout his stream, showing that Bao Bot was actually a viable support player.
If you've got the skill to play two roles in one game, like BoxBox, this could be a great way of forming the perfect partnership through the middle of Summoners Rift.
