Lando Norris, the owner of Quadrant esports organisation, has identified both Rocket League and Call of Duty esports as the first titles he would like teams in.

The Formula 1 driver created Quadrant back in November 2020 after rising to fame through the high-octane motorsport and combining it with his passion for streaming and gaming. Norris, aged just 21, has so far bolstered the ranks of the Quadrant with content creators including sim-racing stars Aarav "aarava" Aminand Steve "SuperGT" Alvarez Brown, Call of Duty queen Maria "RiaBish" Bish, and FIFA player Niran "FNG" Yesufu.

Speaking to fans in Quadrant's latest secret Q&A video Norris revealed that "My ultimate dream with Quadrant is to grow it a lot and become a much bigger esports team,” before adding "And grow it from where we are now, not just to have content creators, but to have teams in CDL, so Call of Duty, in Rocket League, in different games.”

Rocket League has become a popular title for celebrities and sports organisations to get involved in. David Beckham's Guild Esports opted for Rocket League as their first title before branching out to FIFA and VALORANT, Gareth Bale's Ellevens Esports endured a 10 months spell in the South American region until contracts ran out on January 1, and even Football sides such as FC Barcelona, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and until recent Paris Saint Germain have all revved their engines.

As for Call of Duty, the elite league is currently capped at 12 teams, however, this may change for the 2022 season. Many organisations have begun to dip their toes into the Challengers scene, and many have already identified sides such as WestR as an ideal target for Norris.

When he will venture out is yet to be known, although, with the F1 season on the horizon, it may be sooner than we think.
