The Los Angeles Thieves simply cannot stop grabbing headlines, as their rostermania turmoil has grabbed the attention of the entire Call of Duty League community.

Having faced a range of hurdles in the last few weeks, the franchise has been forced into a catalyst of changes, which has now been topped off with the addition of Johnathon "John" Perez's return to competing - a highly anticipated comeback since taking two years out of the game.

However, this marked the end of the road for Thomas "TJHaly" Haly and Cuyler "Huke" Garland, both of whom have been bombed out of the team and placed on the bench.

As LA Thieves attempt to fight for justification before Stage 5 kicks off, their only consistent performer, Kenny "Kenny" Williams, has now stepped up to the plate and revealed everything that's been going on in the unsettled camp.

Kenny Explains The Situation With Huke At The Stage 4 Major

Taking to the popular CDL talk show The Flank, hosted by Thomas "ZooMaa" Paparatto and Ben Nissim, Kenny first opened about the Stage 4 fiasco which involved Huke.

Having seen Huke ruled out by 'incorrectly spelling his own name' for his Covid-19 test, Kenny told the hosts that there was much more than meets the surface.

The LA Thieves main AR explained that "it seemed like [Huke] didn't want to play" after being given ample opportunity to correct his mistake. The reigning world champion was also over 20 minutes late to the arena, missing their first pre-tournament scrimmage, and came without a form of identification that could see him amend the Covid-19 test.

In the same time period, team manager Eric "Muddawg" Sanders was able to pull in substitute Zack "Drazah" Jordan and go through the same processes.

Despite his willingness to make his debut, Drazah's dazzling performance was not enough for LA Thieves to progress, with their lack of preparation evident in the tactical Search and Destroy rounds.

Kenny And TJHaly Clash Over LA Thieves Benching

Kenny also continued to discuss the benching of TJHaly, who on his day is one of the best SMG players in the league. TJ joined Kanny on The Flank to discuss the LA Thieves roster collapse, saying that he wanted to leave earlier in the season, and missed the opportunity to join Florida Mutineers instead of Colt "Havok" McLendon.

Whilst the two clashed, Kenny hit out at TJ saying that he made his own bed by saying he had the opportunity to go and "didn't have to come back to play with us," before adding that the management team "would have let you go".

As a result of staying, TJ found himself benched again following inconsistent performances, and has now missed his chance to play in the elite league.

LA Thieves' shining grace is that John is now back in the league, who will undoubtedly have an impact on their roster, should he be able to find the form we were accustomed to seeing prior to his hiatus. Seth "Scump" Abner recently said that John is one of the best SMG players in Call of Duty history - high praise from the 'King'.
