The Rocket League Championship Series has officially concluded, and the marathon of a season ended with one final hurdle as the best teams in the world sprinted toward the finish line.

Over in Europe, Team BDS' fairytale season was thwarted by Team Vitality, as the old guard of the scene shown that they simply just know how to win. Their knack of turning up in the biggest games has rung true again, with 'Day Three Kaydop' popping up with a stellar performance in yet another Grand Final that earned him his nickname.

With a 2-0 victory over their main counterparts, Team Vitality were crowned Champions of Europe once again, and with it, Alexandre "Kaydop" Courant became the first Rocket League player in history to surpass $500,000 in winnings.

Kaydop Surpasses $500,000 in Rocket League Winnings

Boasting three World Championships and a further seven S-Tier major titles, Kaydop is officially the most winningest player in the history of the game, despite fierce competition from former teammate Pierre "Turbopolsa" Silfver.

The victory in the RLCS X European Championships saw Team Vitality pick up a whopping $160,000 cheque, which sits as their second-highest payout following the Season 7 championships payout ($200,000)

Kaydop alone now has more winnings than all but four organisations in Rocket League, having won just shy of 100 events in five years.

Is Kaydop Rocket League's Best Player Ever?

Even with such success, the jury is still out on who is the best player ever in Rocket League. Statistically, Kaydop comes out on top, although Turbopolsa's extra World Championship ring does outweigh those of the Frenchman's.

Many may also argue that both Kaydop and Turbo aren't the flashiest of players, although their success is greatly bigger than anyone else. Others may look towards Garrett "GarrettG" Gordon and Justin "Jstn." Morales too, with their NA prowess being vastly better than others in the region. Both players also got their hands on a trophy in RLCS X, having won the North American Championships for NRG.

Despite the doubters, there's a huge case for Kaydop to be the best Rocket League player ever, backed up by his $500,000 winnings.
