During Saturday's (12th June) E3, it was announced that Far Cry 6 is going to be very different. You will be able to play as the most memorable baddies from past games.

Yup, you can play as Vaas, Pagan Min, and Joseph Seed.

The trailer said: "You're alive. And that's all that matters. You are Vaas. You are Pagan. You are Joseph. The mind is a dangerous place." Later adding: "You are beyond salvation."

They also added that the Far Cry 6 season pass will also include Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "Looks like #Ubisoft finally realised that the villains and writing are the best part of any #FarCry game and nobody actually gives a damn about most of the gameplay."

Another added: "Oooh getting to play as #FarCry villains in #farcry6 !! Sounds like a great time!! Count me in @Ubisoft".

Check out more footage revealed during E3 here:

Recently, one of the game's designers revealed that there would be some parts of Far Cry 6 that the team would like players to enjoy while 'putting down their guns'. Discussing why should down arms and take the peaceful route around Yara, Lead Gameplay Designer David Grivel explained (via GamesRadar), "We are trying to embrace this feeling that you are a modern guerrilla fighter. One of the things that guerrillas do in the real world is blend in with civilians; you don't know who they are or where they are, and that's exactly what we wanted to emulate. Now you can put your gun away".

Far Cry 6 is coming on October 7, 2021.
