Die-hard Pokémon fans out there will be ecstatic to know that The Pokémon Company has found yet another way to show its love and appreciation for its dedicated supporters.

The Japanese business giant has been throwing out a whole load of exciting new content to keep Pokémon-lovers entertained. If it isn't the list of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl exclusives, then it's offering fans a chance to win a bundle of prizes for sharing pictures of their cute pets.

The Pokémon fanbase is counting down the days until the release date for Pokémon Legends: Arceus on January 28, 2022. Now, it seems players who own some of the previous games will be able to get some exclusive bonuses when Arceus is finally released.

What Are The Arceus Bonuses?

When Pokémon Legends: Arceus is released, fans who have played three classic Pokémon titles will have access to some exclusive content just for them. These titles are: Pokémon Sword and Shield, and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu. Nintendo shared the news with fans on Twitter.

According to the official Arceus website: "If you have play records from the Pokémon Sword or Pokémon Shield game, you’ll be able to take on a research request in Pokémon Legends: Arceus in which you’ll have a chance to add the Mythical Pokémon Shaymin (Land Forme) to your team. This research request will be available for you to accept in Jubilife Village after viewing the game’s end credits."

What Bonuses Will Be Available For Pokémon: Let's Go Players?

As for fans who own Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! or Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! you will be able to get your hands on some exciting hats, if you still have the saves from those games. The Arceus website explained: "You’ll be able to claim both the Pikachu Mask and the Eevee Mask in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. You can claim these masks by speaking to the clothier after joining the Galaxy Expedition Team. (It takes approximately one hour of play time to reach the point where this option is available)."

There's no word, as of yet, from Nintendo or The Pokémon Company about whether these new additions will be branch out to other Pokémon games. However, Pokémon is releasing more information about Arceus as the days go on. So, fingers-crossed our prayers might be answered. In the meantime, old-school Pokémon players can have a look at what happens when Reddit is given the power to play Pokémon Emerald.
