Hyper Scape is the fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping, latest offering from Ubisoft. The futuristic Battle Royale takes place in a virtual reality world, as people compete in a game known as Crown Rush. As well as different Champions (characters) to play, Hyper Scape players also get to choose from a number of ground loot items such as Hacks and Weapons. Hacks are abilities your character can use to stay ahead of the game (and the disappearing zones) - but what is a Battle Royale without guns?

Hyper Scape will give you two gun slots, as well as two ability slots. You also have the capability to "fuse" weapons and hacks, making the 11 guns available deal more damage and increase mag capacity.

GGRecon has compiled the definitive Hyper Scape weapons tier list to help you choose which weapons to pick up on the battlefield of Neo Arcadia.

Harpy SMG

S TIER - Ripper, Harpy

Ripper (Assault Rifle)

The comparisons to Apex Legends' R-301 Carbine can't be ignored here, but the Ripper is a perfect machine - and the must-pick for a Hyper Scape beginner. With a base clip of 24, fusing the Ripper to capacity (four upgrades) will give you 36 powerful shots. At a standard level, the Ripper offers stability, familiarity, and 16 headshot damage.

Harpy (SMG)

Getting up close and personal with a Harpy is never a bad idea. Hyper Scape is all about close-quarters, or very long-range engagements - and not much in-between. You'll either be fighting in tiny buildings or picking off opponents across rooftops of the vast city skyline. The Harpy boasts a 30-magazine capacity at base level and reaches a whopping 45 at maximum fusing. The Harpy is small but deadly.

Riot One

A TIER - Skybreaker, Riot One, Protocol V, Dragonfly

Skybreaker (Rocket Launcher)

There are plenty of explosive options for your loadout in Hyper Scape, but the Skybreaker is by far the best. The chargeable cannon does 40 base damage, up to a scorching 64 once fully fused. Line up the Skybreaker properly though, because it can only be shot once before having to reload.

Riot One (Pistol)

The Wingman of Hyper Scape, the Riot One deals catastrophic damage, with 39 headshot and 26 body at a standard. When fusing the Riot One, the magazine size never changes, which is the only reason the pistol isn't in S Tier of this Hyper Scape weapons tier list. Accuracy is key, so a spray and pray method will not work with this super-deadly revolver.

Protocol V (Sniper)

The Protocol V is the only true sniper rifle in Hyper Scape, and it makes up its rarity with pure damage numbers. The Protocol V only offers its user three shots, but each one packs such a punch, it isn't really an issue. With headshot damage of 75 (before any fuses), and rising to a maximum of 120, if you can get those flick-shots off on the rooftops, you're in for a good match, and a chance at the crown.

Dragonfly (Rifle)

The Dragonfly is the newest weapon in the Hyper Scape gun pool, a semi-auto rifle, which can function as an AR or as a sniper. Think of it as the Hunting Rifle of Neo Arcadia.

B TIER - Hexfire, Mammoth MK 1

Hexfire (LMG)

The Hexfire was nerfed pretty hard in a July 2020 patch, reducing the TTK, and placing it firmly in B Tier of our Hyper Scape weapons tier list. Although, the nerf didn't kill the Hexfire dead, as the rate of fire is still at a horrendous 900 RPM (down from 1000), and a maximum mag capacity of 270. The low damage numbers (4/4/4/4/5), mean you really do need all the bullets you can get.

Mammoth MK 1 (Shotgun – PK)

A pump-action shotgun for the whole family! The Mammoth MK 1 is a semi-automatic shotgun that shoots 15 projectiles with 5 or 7 damage on each body hit, and 7 or 8 damage on headshots. The magazine size also increases as you fuse, leaving you with a comfortable nine tries at a kill.

C TIER - Salvo EPL

Salvo EPL (Grenade Launcher)

The Salvo EPL grenade launcher is great for bouncing projectiles off the many surfaces Neo Arcadia has to offer (be they walls or windows), and will explode on impact. Aiming with this thing is practically nonexistent, though. Previously used to carpet-bomb entire areas, recent changes to the weapon have rendered it... a bit rubbish, dealing only 27 damage.

D TIER - Komodo, D-Tap

Komodo (Energy Cannon)

The Komodo's classification is a tricky one - some cite it as a Sniper, other as a Rocket Launcher. The truth is - it's a bit of both. The handheld energy cannon does 25 damage, with a slightly better aim capability than the Salvo. It's slightly nerfed damage lands it in D Tier.

D-Tap (Pistol)

A reliable option - if there are literally no other guns. The D-Tap is a puny pistol, spitting out a measly 5 damage.
