Where and how to sign up for the closed and open beta.
Riot Games upcoming release VALORANT is set to be one of the biggest games of the year, and FPS fans are dying to get their hands on it, and on access to any beta releases.
The League of Legends developer has finally starting giving access. In order to get access to the beta, you will first have to connect your Twitch to your Riot account which you can do here. If you've not played any of Riot's games before, you will have to sign up a new account. After connecting your accounts, simply watch any of the VALORANT streams on Twitch. Access to the closed beta is distributed randomly, though judging by the history of how Riot Games has handled these rollouts for their other games like Legends of Runeterra, it will probably take around an hour or more of straight watching to gain access. The closed beta will unfortunately only be accessible to North American and European players.
The Valorant beta opened on April 7, 2020, across Europe and North America. The developers haven't announced how long the test will last, stating it wants to "keep closed beta as short as we can while getting additional regions online."
