It's time for the Xbox stans to get really excited, as Microsoft's memeified mini-fridge replica of the Xbox Series X has dropped surprisingly early. This news comes after reports that orders are beginning to be sent out and units are being spotted in stores.

How Do We Know The Xbox Mini Fridge Is Available?

Residents in the US have been blessed with the Xbox Mini Fridge earlier than the expected December release date. Some Target retailers around the country are stocking the item early and placing them on sale, with one Twitter user taking a picture of sixteen stacked together.

US residents who pre-ordered the item back in October - and luckily got ahead of the unscrupulous scalpers - are also reporting that their Mini Fridges are being sent out for delivery.

The good news also stretches across the pond, as pre-orders have opened back up for UK residents, allowing them to purchase it from Game. It's important to note that stock ordered from Game isn't set to get to consumers until January, although after this surprise drop, maybe even that round of Xbox Mini Fridges will arrive early.

What Is The Xbox Mini Fridge?

After the initial reveal of the Xbox Series X, many jokes were made about its appearance, but the most pointed and weirdly accurate one was that it resembled a fridge more than a console. This meme gave Microsoft an easy opportunity for merchandising, as they first sent out life-sized Xbox fridges to celebrities and influencers, before officially announcing the release of Xbox Mini Fridges.

Pre-orders opened in October for $100/£90/€99 and soon sold out as people clawed for their piece of meme and gaming history. It was designed in conjunction with a company called Ukonic, and has the capacity to hold up to twelve drinks, with a USB port for charging and DC power adaptor for mobile use.

Aside from the US and UK, the item is available through Amazon in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland. Microsoft has also made it clear that it plans on bringing the Xbox Mini Fridge to more regions in the future.
