Hilarious Naming Rules Cause Chaos In Among Us Lobby
What a brain breaker. Among Us has been popping up on Twitch and as viewers can attest to, different lobbies come with different rules. One of the most hilarious ideas comes at the hand of the lobby of ZeRoyalViking. For a couple of days, the group has been replacing player names with all kinds of pronouns and have been enforcing to stick to calling players by those given names and even refer to themselves as their chosen pronoun.
What followed is pure brain breaking chaos that produces everything from caveman language to Jar Jar Binks imitations. The following will be about as confusing to read as it was to listen to… ahem.
By deduction, the group determined that “she” had not been seen by anyone else while the other players stuck around each other, with only the victim and she being unaccounted for. As the players want to communicate this to each other, the following moment happens:
Later in the same match, ZeRoyalKing playing as “Me” is doing tasks in Electrical. As “Us” pops out of a vent, likely with his kill ability still on cooldown, Me runs for his life but Us manages to report a body and so down to three players, Me and I have to figure out how to win the game. The moment when a light bulb goes off for I is golden.
Among Us is a mafia/werewolf-like strategy game that randomly selects members of the group to become Imposters while the rest remain Crewmates. While the Crew has to figure out who the bad guys are and throw them out the airlock by voting on them in discussion rounds, Imposters have to try to mask their nefarious deeds and kill as many Crewmembers as possible.
The game created by InnerSloth had shown incredible growth over the last couple of months, originally having been abandoned from further development until streamer Chance “sodapoppin” Morris picked the game up on his stream, spreading it throughout the Twitch.tv community.
