Halo Infinite Screenshots Show Off New Multiplayer Map
Halo Infinite info has been sparse over the last month or so. The game is set to be with us this holiday season, and aside from the glowing conversations that arrived with the game’s beta, we’ve been left in the dark as to what’s new with the latest game in the Halo franchise.
Infinite is set to shake the whole series up, so we’d quite like to know what exactly is going on. Thankfully, though, we’ve been offered a small peek at a new multiplayer map to run rampant on.
Halo Infinite Screenshot Reveals New Map
A new collection of images have been released, which give players closer looks at a few gameplay elements coming to Halo Infinite. Most crucial is the first look at a new map based on Zeta Halo.
Two angles of the map have been revealed, one of the very bottom of the base, and another image is concept art for one of the internal areas of the map that has been dubbed ‘Behemoth’. The map promises to have some nice wide spaces for good sniping, but maintain those slim corridors that make for the best kind of Halo gunplay.
The map doesn’t look all that different from the Halo we know and love. It's sure to be good news for some and bad for others - but at least we’ve got an exciting new look at how Infinite will come to be.
What Else Was Revealed By New Screenshots?
The new screenshots have also offered a closer look at the Banished Shock Rifle, and the flags that will be present in a few of Halo Infinite’s gameplay modes.
You’d be forgiven for expecting them to just show up in Capture The Flag, but they will apparently be a major part of gameplay in the Big Team Battle mode too - alongside some other sandbox elements.
These new details are another addition to the pile of exciting details we’ve learned about Halo Infinite. As long as 343 can keep this next-gen shooter on track for its holiday release bracket, it won’t be long before we can get our hands on it.
