God of War's Norse brute, Kratos, is never one to shy away from the fiercest of weapons, manhandling anything with a sharp edge or enough weight to clobber through heaven and hell.

Whether he's overcoming tyrant ruler Ares with his own Blades of Chaos, casting thaumaturgic blows with the wickedly enchanted Leviathan Axe of lover, Faye, or being transformed into a human bulwark with the help of the Guardian Shield, Kratos is a master at arms. The spartan also strikes fear into opponents with the blood-like tattoos carved down his face like a deep river containing the spills of his foes - rather akin to the Sith lord Darth Maul.

With the likeliness expanding from the tattooed faces into the warrior stylistics and habit of single-handedly perverting whole armies, one gamer has now opted to create Darth Kratos, constructing a lightsaber to commemorate the demigod.

God of War Lightsaber

Reddit user BlueForceSabers has created the God of War lightsaber to suit Kratos' meaty hands whilst paying homage to his journey. With a long wrap and steeled core, the saber is finished off with neat touches that God of War fans will be familiar with. The saber also matches Kratos' signature tattoos, reflected by a crimson red ethereal glow.

Can I Buy The God of War Lightsaber?

Whilst BlueForceSabers does sell some of his custom lightsabers in the region of $500-600, this one, in particular, is only going to be made twice, one being the design already on display. The user didn't quite advertise the lightsaber, although, he did insinuate that the final one to be made will hit his Etsy shop window.

BlueForceSabers also insisted that the weapon is suitable for light contact, rather than full-blown duelling, meaning it might be best that Kratos' burly bludgeon fingers stay well away.
