The Ghost of Sparta is swapping his Leviathan Axe for a Batarang, because apparently, the man behind Kratos has snuck into a Batman movie. While Terrence C. Carson was the OG Kratos from 2005 to 2013, most now associate the bearded brute with Christopher Judge.

Away from playing the punishing patriarch in 2018's God of War and next year's Ragnarok, Judge is remembered as Teal'C in Stargate SG-1 and other video game roles in the likes of the World of Warcraft series and Marvel's Avengers. But did you know, he appeared in The Dark Knight Rises?

Who Is Christopher Judge In The Dark Knight Rises?

Admittedly, it's not like Judge is sticking on a purple suit to play the Joker, nor is he a double for Tom Hardy's Bane - although he'd make a pretty great Bane in our eyes. Instead, Judge simply plays Mercenary Assassin #3.

The factoid was shared on the God of War subreddit, with fans freaking out that they could've missed Kratos in live-action. Judge played one of Bane's hired goons, who faced off against Joseph Gordon-Levitt's John Blake, aka Robin.

Responding to the role, one GoW fanatic joked, "BOIman: the dark BOI rises," while another added, "Now I’m sorta wanting to see Judge’s take on Bane :D".

Another interesting titbit is that Judge was injured on the set of the movie and ended up with a bloodied eye while filming a scene alongside Gordon-Levitt. The latter botched a punch and led to Judge's eye spurting blood.

Will There Be A Live-Action God Of War?

Away from Judge hiding in plain sight in The Dark Knight Rises, could we see him play Kratos in live-action? Despite A LOT of rumours, there's no official word that Sony is working on a live-action God of War adaptation.

Last year, Sony confirmed it is working on three movies and seven TV shows based on its video game catalogue - with God of War being an easy sell. There's been the mixed bag of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, as well as the Tom Holland-led Uncharted on the way.

We know a Ghost of Tsushima movie is officially on the way, but where is Kratos? Given the love for Judge's performance in the games, we can't think of anyone better to play him. Then again, Hollywood will probably go and cast Chris Pratt.
