The best job in the world doesn't exi-

Oh wait, it does. You could have the chance to be paid thousands of pounds to watch every episode of the beloved TV show The Simpsons. No doubt, this will have fans flocking to the plush brown coach.

Online gaming casino website, Plantincasino, is offering one lucky "Simpson's superfan" the chance to be employed as a 'Series Analyst' for the long-running American cartoon. Why? To find out whether previous episodes of The Simpsons have predicted any future events which are yet to occur.

Not to mention, the winning candidate will be paid £5,000 or the chosen currency equivalent for eight weeks worth of work. Where do we sign up?

What Is 'The Simpsons Series Analyst' Role?

The job description on Plantincasino's website says: "The Simpsons Series Analyst will watch and analyse all episodes from the 33 seasons, along with The Simpsons spinoff movie. During each episode the professional will be asked to take notes on stand out storylines to feedback to us and our team of prediction experts. We will then compile the events into a list of future predictions with a probability of each one happening."

The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 35.5 hours a week over an eight-week period, with flexible working hours and the option to work from home. To top it all off, you won't have to resort to eating your shorts because Plantincasino will send you a weekly supply of doughnuts.

What Would I Need To Do As A 'Simpsons Series Analyst'?

As well as watching The Simpsons with a Lard Lad doughnut in hand, the candidate will be required to analyse each episode to see if there could be any indication of a prediction about the future. It might seem like a bit of a bizarre request. However, over the years, The Simpsons fans have been freaked out by how many future events the show has been able to predict, from Donald Trump's presidency to smart watches. It's, also, not an impossible task, as proven by one psychic YouTuber who predicted Battlefield 2042 months before it was announced

Applicants for the role must be over 18, be fluent in English, and have good writing skills. As well as this, candidates must have access to a television or laptop, but money will be provided for the successful applicant to buy a Disney Plus subscription.

For any gamers who want to brush up on their Simpsons knowledge, sadly, there won't be a new Hit-And-Run remaster any time soon. Although, there is a new arcade game. Woohoo!
