Did you miss Geoff Keighley's Opening Night Live Gamescom stream? Don't worry, because we watched the whole thing and have every single announcement, reveal, and trailer covered in this article. From Call of Duty: Vanguard to the Saints Row Remaster and more, this is everything the complete Gamescom stream round-up from Opening Night Live.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Saints Row

Saints Row has taken a sharp turn, with the brand-new reboot of the franchise looking absolutely crisp. The trailer featured a gang with cybernetic limbs and enhancements, along with a big ol' rocket launcher, while your band of musketeers fled via car.

Players will play as The Boss, alongside three allies in a south-west US city which is riddled with crime. This will be the "biggest and best Saints Row playground ever created". The city has three distinctly different gangs that control the streets, with each one as dangerous as the last and will launch on February 25, 2022.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Midnight Sons

Next up is a surprise Marvel game reveal called Midnight Sons, featuring a bunch of characters who so-far, haven't had much screen time. Doctor Strange kicked off the trailer while Wolverine showed up later on, amongst a whole lot of other fan favourites including Iron Man and Captain America's... shield. This is a "tactical RPG" and will be coming out in March 2022, with a gameplay reveal on September 1.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Call of Duty Vanguard

In terms of new Vanguard information, David Swenson, Creative Campaign Director, and Laura Bailey, voice of Polina, one of the lead characters in the campaign, took to the stage. Laura confirms that Polina is a sniper during the campaign and is inspired by a real hero during World War II.

David revealed that the campaign starts for the team as they begin their first special forces mission, but the gameplay we see is from Polina's perspective as she started life as a nurse in Stalingrad. We see her grab a shotgun and blast some Nazis before sneaking through the wreckage of some burning buildings.

We also get to see some close-quarters Kar98k action, along with some stealthy melee takedowns. Polina then enters into a huge town hall-esque building and grabs an MP44, before being punched in the head and we flashback to an hour earlier, when Polina's medical corp camp was blown to smithereens by planes. The player sprints for cover as buildings come down all around her, before the trailer comes to an end.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Halo Infinite

A brand new Halo Infinite trailer was next on the agenda, showing a woman sprinting through cover in an alien planet, before some spartans hurtle to the ground ODST-style and save her from being obliterated. We then see the woman in the future, training up future spartans.

Joseph Staten, Head of Creative on Halo Infinite, took to the stage to explain that the trailer we saw is the beginning of the multiplayer journey that goes from season-to-season. Joseph then revealed that the campaign and multiplayer for Halo Infinite is releasing on December 8, 2021. This means that Forge and some other features won't be available on launch, but will come later down the line.

There will also be a limited edition controller and Xbox Series X|S console coming on November 15 to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Halo and Xbox.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Cult of the Lamb

One of the strangest genre mash-ups in recent history, Cult of the Lamb looks like it channels Stardew Valley meets The Binding of Isaac.

Then again, it comes from Devolver Digital, so wild and wacky is par for the course.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Midnight Fight Express

This game developed by a single person is all about the action, as this isometric combat-heavy game has a brand-new trailer.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: TMNT: Shredder's Revenge

Everyone loves the turtles, and the upcoming Shredder's Revenge game will feature April O'Neill as a playable character. This trailer also reveals the turtle-revive mechanic, which sees you feed them pizza. Because of course it does.

A very interesting brand new sci-fi shooter has been revealed called Synced: Off-Planet and while the trailer didn't show off too much, we'll get to see more in a gameplay reveal tomorrow, August 26.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: The Outlast Trials

The third game in the Outlast series has been revealed, but this time it's multiplayer. You and up to three friends can take on the next horrifying experience, with more details to be revealed at a later date.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: DokeV

Going from Outlast to this South Korean-developed hyperactive, creature collecting MMO felt like a fever dream, especially given how many performance issues the trailer had, but it certainly looks graphically impressive. I spent my entire time watching this trailer with my mouth agape, not entirely sure what was happening, but we got to see plenty of gameplay featuring jetskis, bicycles, water fountains, oceans, and more.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Jurassic World Evolution 2

The sequel to the first Jurassic World Evolution has another brand-new trailer featuring alpha in-game footage, showing off some of the vast amounts of dinosaurs you can have in your park.

If you're into theme park builders, Park Beyond is the next big one coming up, with incredibly bright colours and facial animations straight out of early 2000s cartoons.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Deadmau5 and Ob3rhasl1

Just watch the trailer for this one, because we are absolutely speechless. This is Deadmau5's new game development platform, coming exclusively to Core.

There's a new trailer for SIFU too, which features fluid and smooth combat that mixes the Batman Arkham franchise with a fighting game. This also confirmed the release date of February 22, 2022.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Death Stranding: Director's Cut

Wherever Geoff Keighley goes, Hideo Kojima follows, and the upcoming Director's Cut version of Death Stranding got a brand-new trailer showing off some of the upcoming gameplay features. Included in this is a buddy bot that carries your cargo for you, along with jetpack stabilisers to help you cross extreme terrain. Sort of feels like it defeats the point of Death Stranding but hey, what do I know. There's also new missions, areas to explore, and enemies to fight.
