Gamescom Stream Round-up: Saints Row
Saints Row has taken a sharp turn, with the brand-new reboot of the franchise looking absolutely crisp. The trailer featured a gang with cybernetic limbs and enhancements, along with a big ol' rocket launcher, while your band of musketeers fled via car.
Players will play as The Boss, alongside three allies in a south-west US city which is riddled with crime. This will be the "biggest and best Saints Row playground ever created". The city has three distinctly different gangs that control the streets, with each one as dangerous as the last and will launch on February 25, 2022.

Gamescom Stream Round-up: Call of Duty Vanguard
In terms of new Vanguard information, David Swenson, Creative Campaign Director, and Laura Bailey, voice of Polina, one of the lead characters in the campaign, took to the stage. Laura confirms that Polina is a sniper during the campaign and is inspired by a real hero during World War II.
David revealed that the campaign starts for the team as they begin their first special forces mission, but the gameplay we see is from Polina's perspective as she started life as a nurse in Stalingrad. We see her grab a shotgun and blast some Nazis before sneaking through the wreckage of some burning buildings.
We also get to see some close-quarters Kar98k action, along with some stealthy melee takedowns. Polina then enters into a huge town hall-esque building and grabs an MP44, before being punched in the head and we flashback to an hour earlier, when Polina's medical corp camp was blown to smithereens by planes. The player sprints for cover as buildings come down all around her, before the trailer comes to an end.
Gamescom Stream Round-up: Halo Infinite
A brand new Halo Infinite trailer was next on the agenda, showing a woman sprinting through cover in an alien planet, before some spartans hurtle to the ground ODST-style and save her from being obliterated. We then see the woman in the future, training up future spartans.
Joseph Staten, Head of Creative on Halo Infinite, took to the stage to explain that the trailer we saw is the beginning of the multiplayer journey that goes from season-to-season. Joseph then revealed that the campaign and multiplayer for Halo Infinite is releasing on December 8, 2021. This means that Forge and some other features won't be available on launch, but will come later down the line.
There will also be a limited edition controller and Xbox Series X|S console coming on November 15 to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of Halo and Xbox.
Gamescom Stream Round-up: Cult of the Lamb

Going from Outlast to this South Korean-developed hyperactive, creature collecting MMO felt like a fever dream, especially given how many performance issues the trailer had, but it certainly looks graphically impressive.
