Warzone Season Five has brought about plenty of content for players to have some fun with, but it sadly didn’t come with what the game needed the most - anti-cheat. The Call of Duty battle royale has sadly become known for its failures in the department of hackers and cheaters - ruining the game’s experience for many fans.

We’ve been promised a new anti-cheat system for PC with the release of Vanguard like it’s a flashy new feature rather than the bare minimum of keeping a game operational. Until then, we’re squeezed into the corner by aimbotters and hackers alike.

The problem sees no sign of stopping, and it’s clear that hacking is getting…a little ridiculous.

Warzone Hacker Flies Across The Map

Streaming on Twitch, Warzone Thomas "Tommey" Trewren had a run-in with a rather gutsy hacker. The cheater is seen flying across Verdansk with their parachute open, jittering through the air. Tommey loses the player behind a building, but by that point, they’re long gone.

"I’ve never seen this hack in my life!" he shouted. "What is that? [...] Yo, no bulls**t, we got this new hack in our game. I’m not even kidding."

Warzone Is Dealing With Serious Hacker Teleporting Problems

This hack isn’t exclusive to pro lobbies, either - another streamer has seen it in full effect as cheaters are teleporting around the map. The hack is almost impossible to predict, meaning that players have an almost assured win when these hacks are in use.

It’s incredibly frustrating that these hacks are still rife in the game, and even more frustrating that hackers are so emboldened by a lack of anti-cheat that they’re boldly soaring through the air and teleporting all over the map as they see fit.

Warzone desperately needs a change - and not one masqueraded as a bonus feature. The game needs immediate change, but something tells us we’re going to be left to fester.
