Mayhem is set to unfold in the Outlands as the frosted caps of winter begin to melt and the first essences of spring begin to sprout.

Unfortunately for Kings Canyon, none of the legends will be planting the cherry blossom trees or prime primroses from Olympus back in the now-not-so-original map. The newest legend is set to emancipate the map as we know it and turn it into a playground of rubble and rust thanks to his lust for a stick of dynamite and a roaring flame.

With a fetish for pyrotechnics, Fuse comes with a range of abilities alike the other legends. With Apex Legends Season 8 on the horizon, Respawn Entertainment has released the latest patch notes which include a full breakdown of Fuse's abilities and much more.

Fuse Abilities

A full list of Fuse's abilities are as follows:

Passive - Grenadier

Stack an extra grenade per inventory slot. Fire grenades farther, faster, and more accurately.

Tactical - Knuckle Cluster

Launch a cluster bomb that continuously expels airburst explosives on impact.

Ultimate - The Motherlode

Launch a bombardment that encircles a target area in a wall of flames.

Lockdown Hits Hard On Wraith

Apex's neat and nimble voidwalker is getting yet another slight nerf this season. Just like many of us over the lockdown and quarantine periods, Wraith has gained a little bit of weight. Her hitbox has been altered slightly to have a little more width and height than her fellow 'small' legends.

Other legends have also been altered too. Crypto's drone can no longer be used as an Arc Star courier, Mirages decoy's now make footstep noise, and Octane's super jump is back with a revisited launch arc.

Old But gold

Some of the more classical weapons are being fully kitted out this season. The fully gold builds that can be found consist of the R-301, 30-30 Repeater, Mozambique, Longbow DMR, and Spitfire.

Each gold weapon will now have a new magazine type that automatically reloads weapon ammo if the gun remains in their pocket for seven seconds.

The gold barrel has been removed from the standard loot pool but could still be found in the replicators. Also, the Double Tap hop up is being removed and replaced by the Anvil Rounds which come back into rotation. Welcome to the era of single fire.

The Apex Legends Season 8 update is set for release as of 6pm GMT.
