While Galactus was the big bad of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4, dataminers think they've uncovered an altogether more dangerous presence lurking under the revamped map. Those who hop into Epic Games' battle royale giant regularly thought Season 4 would deliver some sort of cataclysmic event similar to Chapter 1 Season X's "The End". Although this wasn't the case, the Zero Point has been torn open and there have been mentions of characters escaping their loops, suggesting we're working toward something equally as colossal for the end of Chapter 2.

In Season 5, Agent Jonesy is back in action and recruiting a team of mercenaries to track down the runaway characters. Although Jonesy is seemingly fighting on the side of good, the latest leaks suggest a sinister organisation called The Order is hiding in the bowels of the game and getting ready to strike. Forget the Storm King and move over Midas, there's stiff competition for the title of ultimate Fortnite villain.

Fortnite secret organisation: What is The Order?

Prominent Fortnite leaker FortTory gets the nod for this one. Posting on Twitter, they showed off assets for a sprawling government-esque building underneath Stealthy Stronghold and The Coliseum. There are several references to The Order, but at the time of writing, we have no idea who (or what) they are. FortTory explored the area with the replay function and found several inaccessible spawn chests alongside The Order's sigil.

This undoubtedly ties to the overarching Season 5 story, which could soon see us dashing around underneath the map like lab rats. There's already plenty of action that goes on on the surface of the Fortnite map, so imagine doubling the danger by also taking us underground. Putting the pieces together, it's easy to see Agent Jonesy working for The Order. In the first Season 5 trailer, he's seen answering to someone, while his base of operations was confirmed to be under the map. Added to this, the new Imagined Order Guards that have started spawning around the map were also seen behind Jonesy in the cinematic trailer.

Fortnite secret organisation: Is The Order really evil?

Agent Jonesy working for The Order suggests that they're the good guys, but how many times have we seen faceless government corporations having their own sinister motives? Given that this is the first time we've seen a mention of the Fortnite secret organisation, your guess is as good as ours. The Twitterverse is awash with theories about what is going on.

As it stands, there are wild and wonderful guesses that The Order is some sort of Star Wars-related group thanks to The Mandalorian's prominence in Season 5. Other popular musings claim The Order is a cover for The Seven. The Seven is one of Fortnite's biggest mysteries that rolled over from Chapter 1, but with a recent name drop in the Season 5 trailer, we're expecting them to rear their heads again in the near future. When it comes to The Order, you can bet your V-Bucks that we'll learn more about this shady sect as Season 5 evolves.
