We've had some great Fortnite crossovers over the years, and while it looks like we're in the midst of the dark days of DC thanks to SupermanThe Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman, we're always looking out for some Marvel madness.

Following the all-star Chapter 2 Season 4 unloading the comic book chaos of Marvel onto the map, Fortnite boss Donald Mustard promised "many years" of crossovers with the heroes and villains of the Avengers and beyond. We've recently seen the addition of Guardians of the Galaxy's Gamora, but now, the idea for a Deadpool x Fishstick skin has started doing the rounds.

What is the Deadpool Fishstick concept?

Shared by noted Fortnite leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBR, the pair both claimed a Deadpool Fishstick was at least in the works at some time. Although neither has a picture of the concept, their place in the Fortnite community should be enough for us to believe in its existence.

Interestingly, while HYPEX referred to the skin as "probably scrapped", ShiinaBR included it in a tweet alongside claims it's still being worked on. As well as a mythical "toon" Fishstick skin that's compared to Toon Meowscles, they referred to a Fishstick skin that's codenamed "Donut".

Although ShiinaBR doesn't reveal their source, they seem pretty adamant that Donut could be a cover for Deadpool Fishstick. Either way, the mere idea of a Deadpool Fishstick skin was enough to send the comments section into overdrive. One fan simply wrote, "DEADPOOL FISHSTICK?! Man i'm dead, i need them all!"

Will we ever see the Deadpool Fishstick skin?

Championing the idea of setting up a much bloodier version of Fishsticks' restaurant in Craggy Cliffs, players demanded to know what happened to Deadpool Fishstick. Some questioned whether it was meant to come alongside Deadpool's Chapter 2 Season 2 arrival, while others thought it was supposed to be part of the Season 4 Marvel dump.

Namely, most decided that unless Deadpool returns for whatever reason, Deadpool Fishstick won't make a lot of sense. Then again, there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason to the way Epic Games releases its skin and who end up in the shop, so look out for a random Deadpool Fishstick if he jumps off the Battle Bus.

If Deadpool Fishstick is out there, he wouldn't be the first. In the past, we've seen both Cudlepool and Ravenpool for Cuddle Team Leader and Raven, while eagle-eyed fans have seen a sticker for a Peely x Deadpool skin out there on the map. Will Fishpool really happen? Better get your fishing rods.
