Fortnite’s fans have always been at the core of what Epic Games chooses to do with its leading title. No cosmetic nor map change would ever be greenlit if the team expected the majority of the Fortnite fanbase to resit. After all, it’s them keeping the lights on at Epic Games, and them who are responsible for the continued successes of the battle royale game.

In a welcome move, it looks like Epic Games is gearing up to pay it forward. The gaming giant will apparently allow the fans themselves to choose what's coming next to the Fortnite store. There's nothing more frustrating than finding a favourite skin or weapon, only for it to be vaulted in a flash.

How Is Fortnite Letting You Choose The Next Unvaulting?

Players of Fortnite now have the chance to unvault one of two items in-game: the Rift-To-Go or the Shockwave Launcher. For those who don't know, Rift-To-Go has the ability to activate a rift (duh) and launch you into the air. The shockwave launcher is a handy addition that will launch rivals away from you when caught in a tight spot. Neither are exactly offensive weapons, but both have their own loyal fans.

All you have to do to cast your vote is donate more gold bars to your preferred item than the opposing item, and it will make its grand return. The Donation Boards are set up at various points of interest across the map, meaning you’ll have to make the trek there yourself to make your voice heard.

Where Are Fortnite’s Donation Boards?

There are twelve donation boards scattered across Fortnite’s map - where you can decide the item that gets unvaulted. If you're ready, here’s where you can cast your vote.

They’re often next to turret boards and spread out across the outside of the map. You’ll find boards in Steamy Stacks, Craggy Cliffs, Stealthy Stronghold, and Sludgy Swamp. There are also two located in Holly Hedges (one sitting in the boat, and one on the very edge), plus there are two more each in Retail Row, Believer Beach and Dirty Docks.

We don't know how long this vote will last for, so unless you’re willing to miss out and not use your vote, jump in quick. It's also unclear whether other items will be up for unvaulting, but we just hope the long-rumoured return of Ballers happens.
