Rachell "Valkyrae" Hofstetter left fans concerned after she abruptly ended a live-stream.

The popular Twitch streamer was playing Rust with fifty other huge content creators such as Michael "shroud" Grzesiek and Imane "PokimaneAnys, but around three hours in she announced: “I’m gonna end stream. I’m not having fun streaming.”

Fans had noticed that during the stream she didn’t look particularly happy, and was silent a couple of times before announcing her departure.

After going offline, she set her Twitter account to private for a few hours.

Fans flooded Twitter with an outpouring of support for the 100 Thieves streamer, with the hashtag #valkyraesupport.

One fan wrote: “honestly, not too sure what happened but i just wanted to say love you lots rae and i know so many others do too <33 im so happy i came upon your videos this year and you made my 2020 better. you deserve all your support and take care c:”

Another added: “Looking at the #ValkyraeSupport trending and not knowing what it's about I found out and it's very sad that such a nice, genuine person has to have such a bad experience that she has to end stream. She does this for us...be appreciative guys. It's not that difficult.”

She later confirmed that she would be streaming again, however, did make a point of letting her fans know that her chat would be disabled prior to her going live.

This comes after Valkyrae accidentally revealed how much she earns on YouTube. Leaked via herself on stream, she let slip that her YouTube earnings in the last 28 days amounted to $172,908.21. This is actually a 6% decrease on her previous 28 days, which would have meant she'd have surpassed $180,000 in November.

Taking into consideration her steep incline this year, her earnings at the start of the year would have been significantly less, however, should her popularity have been the same as this month, she'd have earnt a whopping $2,247,806.73 in a year.
